So you've thinking about doing one of the two exciting multi-day events at Hut 2 Hut. Brilliant, but which one is right for you? Well here is some info about the Multi-Day Miler and the Muti-Day Half Miler to help make choosing a little easier.

MUTLI-DAY HALF MILER

Multi Day Half-Miler

The Multi Day Half Miler is made up of three races across three days:

LaLas 23km on the Friday of the event.

Archies 50km on the Saturday of the event.

Bellas 10km on the Sunday of the event.

Competitors will compete in a total of 83km over the three days. Each race will have its own set of mandatory gear that you need to carry with Archies 50 needing the most. You will need to bring all of your mandatory gear with you to race registration on the Thursday or Friday morning before you are given your race bib.

The Multi-Day Half Miler is a great way to try multi-day racing. Each of the races have very generous cut-off times (7 hours for the Lala, 15 hours for Archie and 2.5 hours for Bellas) so it's the prefect multi-day for those who want to smash it out and those who want to enjoy the scenery and fill in the weekend. As a bonus, if you do happen to miss a cut off time in any of teh races you can still race the next day. You don't get an official finish time but you can enjoy your whole weekend.

MUTLI-DAY MILER

Multi Day Miler

This one is the big one. The tough one. And exists for those who don't do anything by halves.

Across three days you'll take on the following courses

  • Oscars 100km on the Friday of the event.
  • Archies 50km on the Saturday of the event.
  • Bellas 10km on the Sunday of the event.

Competitors will compete in a total of 160km over the three days. You'll have to meet cut-off times across each course. The good news, sort of, is that only Oscars 100km course has pretty brutal cut-off times. If you can make it through the 100km course then success rate is really high......if you can get yourself to the 6.30am start time for the Archie that is.

This one is a fair bit tougher than the Multi-Day Half Miler. We like to really challenge your resilience but we do have a gentle side too. If you miss the cut off times for the 100km course you can still compete in teh Archie and Bella races. You won't get an official finish time but you will get the satisfaction of not quitting. Call them a redemption run, of sorts.

We have a really strict mandatory gear list for teh 100km and 50km run and like the Mutli-Day Half Miler you'll need to show it all before you can get your multi-day bibs. You can check out the complete list of mandatory gear you'll need to carry by clicking here
